Inauguration of the first direct flight Paris - Indianapolis

Inauguration of the first non-stop flight Paris-Indianapolis with Delta Air Lines. Guillaume Lacroix, French Consul General to the Midwest joined Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and his delegation in Paris to celebrate the launch. "The direct flight is a great opportunity for trade, investment, students mobility, tourism, for both France and Indiana... It is a two-way street. Thank you Governor Holcomb for choosing France" said Consul General Lacroix. Honorary Consul of France Martin Baier was also part of the trip.
On May 24, Deputy Consul general Frederic Chole and FACC-Chicago President Juan Luis Goujon went to Indianapolis for a grand event hosted by Indianapolis International Airport. Mayor of Indianapolis Joe Hogsett, representatives of the State and City economic departments, members of the business community, students... were present at the event.
The opening of the non-stop transatlantic service also coincides with the 2018 Indianapolis 500 race on May 27.
