THROUGH MAY 9 - THE POSTMAN
Presented by the Chicago Humanities Festival in association with MCA Stage. In the charming new play by France’s Vélo Théâtre, a postman goes on his daily rounds by bicycle, laden with letters and packages to deliver. Opening one of the packages, he discovers a fantastic and magical world inside. One package—and adventure—leads to another in this wordless play, a living postcard full of imagination, humor, and the wonder of discovery. Vélo Théâtre returns to Stages, Sights & Sounds, having performed There’s a Rabbit in the Moon in the 2010 festival.
The Postman is a wonderful show for adults and children alike. It is recommended for ages 4 and up. There are only a few shows left so be sure not to miss this great performance.
